About This Product
The #4 Hi Mag adds magnesium to the formula - important for cattle on lush spring pastures where grass tetany is a concern. At 22% protein, it can replace cubes or cake.
When to use it
Early spring when pastures green up fast and magnesium deficiency becomes a risk. Also useful during drought when forage quality tanks. One 250-lb tub handles 20-30 head.

Fast-growing spring grass is often low in magnesium. Cattle can't store it, so they need a steady supply. The Hi Mag formula delivers it with every lick instead of relying on loose mineral that blows away.
