Oxygen Barrier Systems

FeedFresh 1-Step — Scrim-reinforced oxygen barrier cover with EVOH technology for virtually zero oxygen transmission. Single-layer application with UV and thermal stabilizers built in.

SealFresh 2-Step — Separate oxygen barrier film (clings to silage surface) plus Dura-Skrim protective cover on top. The barrier film blocks oxygen while the cover handles UV and weather.

Dura-Skrim Cover Options

R-Series (R6, R8, R12, R20) — Scrim-reinforced polyethylene laminates in various weights. Multiple layers laminated with molten polyethylene for tear strength. Black versions use carbon black for UV resistance; white versions reflect heat and reduce temperature buildup.

R5 & R10 — Clear diagonal scrim reinforced for applications where visibility matters.

Things to Know

Oxygen barrier films (FeedFresh, SealFresh) significantly reduce dry matter loss and surface spoilage compared to standard covers alone. On a 3,000-ton pile, producers typically see $3,000-5,000 in saved dry matter. All covers are made to your dimensions.
