Braber LS28DH

The Braber BE-LS28DH delivers 28 tons of splitting force from a Honda GX200 196cc, 6.5 HP engine. Its 13 GPM two-stage hydraulic pump and 4.5 x 24-inch cylinder produce up to 3,400 PSI, with an 11-second forward cycle and a 9.5-second reverse cycle.

The Honda GX200 is a large part of this splitter's higher price. Many lower-priced splitters use an unbranded engine. This model uses a known Honda GX-series engine with separate Honda warranty coverage, so you know which engine you are buying and who supports it.

Full-beam construction, automatic ram return, and an over-top log dislodger make repeated splitting more manageable. It handles logs up to 24 inches long and 14 inches in diameter. DOT tires, tapered wheel bearings, safety chains, and a spring-release pin equip it for towing at speeds up to 45 mph.
